What is the significance of Belfast? Does it have a roll in history?

Thanks for the great pics. I'm a Misplaced Mainiac living in Florida now, but come "home" at least once a year. Do you have any pictures of lilacs or pussy willows? I've found myself missing both recently. Spring fever, perhaps?
